ACMS 54510 - Section 01: Linear Models (Online) (CRN 3996)

Course Description:
In this course, you will obtain a firm background in both classical and modern methods in applied linear regression modeling. The first part of the class offers an introduction to fundamental concepts in regression model building and inference. The second part of the course delves techniques for model selection and evaluation (bootstrapping, ridge regression, and lasso). R will be used for analysis and visualization.

Note: this course is delivered fully online. The course design combines required live weekly meetings online with self-scheduled lectures, problems, assignments, and interactive learning materials. To participate, students will need to have a computer with webcam, reliable internet connection, and a quiet place to participate in live sessions.
