This course requires students to engage in original case studies focused on quantitative analysis of traditional construction materials, methods, and principles of design, including Life Cycle Analysis, Embodied Water, Embodied Energy, and the development of analysis tools to assess the more qualitative aspects of traditional design and urbanism.
